Strella Raises $4M Seed to Automate Market Research with AI-Powered Customer Interviews

Strella, the AI-powered customer research platform co-founded by Lydia Hylton and Priya Krishnan (who met in high school in Fairfax County, Virginia), announced a $4 million seed funding round led by Decibel, with participation from Unusual Ventures. The company automates qualitative market research using an AI moderator that conducts in-depth customer interviews and synthesizes findings in real time.
Strella delivers insights "up to ten times faster and at half the cost of traditional research methods." At launch, the company had already signed 15 customers including Duolingo and Spanx. Strella has since raised a $14M Series A led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with customers including Amazon and Chobani.
