Robinhood Launches Prediction Markets Joint Venture with Susquehanna

Robinhood announced a joint venture to establish a futures and derivatives exchange and clearinghouse, with Susquehanna International Group as a key partner and liquidity provider. As part of the venture, they acquired MIAXdx, a CFTC-licensed exchange platform.

Prediction markets had become Robinhood's fastest-growing product line, with 9 billion contracts traded by over 1 million customers in just one year. The joint venture represents Robinhood's strategy to vertically integrate its prediction markets business by owning the exchange infrastructure rather than relying on third-party platforms.
