Robinhood Unveils Powerful New Tools for Active Traders at HOOD Summit 2025

At its annual HOOD Summit 2025, Robinhood unveiled a sweeping set of product launches aimed at transforming the platform into a comprehensive financial superapp. Key announcements included Robinhood Social (a trading community with verified live trades), futures trading on over 40 CME Group products, and AI-powered tools through a feature called "Cortex" that lets users create custom indicators using natural language.

Additional announcements included short selling capabilities, overnight Index Options trading, expanded mobile trading ladders, and device linking. The summit underscored Robinhood's aggressive push beyond commission-free stock trading into a full-service financial platform competing with established brokerages.

With TJHSST alum Baiju Bhatt as co-founder, Robinhood reported $4.5 billion in total revenue for 2025 (up 52% year-over-year), $1.9 billion in net income, and $324 billion in total platform assets.
